Three things: turnover (more transactions = more bookkeeping time), complexity (groups, foreign income, R&D claims, multi-property portfolios), and add-ons (payroll headcount, VAT scheme, management accounts). Anything outside the agreed scope is quoted as a fixed price before the work starts.
Email questions, phone calls, mortgage reference letters, tax payment reminders, agent authorisation with HMRC, software subscription (in Growth+ plans), routine HMRC correspondence, and the annual tax planning meeting. All included.
Yes: for everything in the agreed scope. We'll always quote a fixed price in writing for anything outside it, before doing the work.
Yes, all our fees are quoted excluding 20% VAT. If your business is VAT-registered you reclaim it.
Cancel any time with 30 days' notice. No clawbacks, no exit fees. We'll hand over your records and software to your new accountant within 5 days.
